The David Prize is a celebration of New Yorkers with ideas for extraordinary change.
We believe that New York City’s best and biggest resource is its people and that New Yorkers who are proximate to the City’s greatest challenges will build the best solutions. Open to any individual working in the five boroughs, the Prize welcomes those with the vision and conviction to change our communities, our culture, and our future for good.
Gotham Gives was founded by Joanne and Fred Wilson in 2021 to focus on the challenge of making New York City a more equitable community that offers the same opportunities for all New Yorkers. Gotham Gives builds on The Wilsons’ successes in encouraging innovation and supporting entrepreneurs to create programs that include new models of thinking and doing to achieve ambitious and measurable goals.
Cultivating literacy and a lifelong love of reading.
The Carmel Hill Fund Education Program’s mission is to promote literacy and foster a love of reading, particularly among at-risk youth in inner cities.
As New York’s community foundation, we foster and engage in enduring and innovative philanthropy.
From the creation of the first donor-advised fund to our vital role in the region’s response to the AIDS crisis, September 11th, and COVID-19, The Trust has always been a pioneer, innovator, and leader.
